News and Information

Welcome to the new site for Wellington Manor! We will be doing our best to keep this page updated with news and things going on in the neighborhood. There may also be reminders on the guidelines as we see issues arise. We all want to keep things looking good and keeping our home values high. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at monroewellingtonmanor@gmail.com or visit the Contact Us page and fill out the form. Thanks for visiting!

Notes:

Get ready to cool off at the Walton County Splash Park! We have rented the Splash Park for our residents on July 12th from 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM. We will bring some freeze pops and bottled water. Please bring your photo ID with you as you will not be allowed to enter without it. This is to ensure we only allow Wellington Manor residents into the Splash Park.

You can also cool off with some treats coming soon from the Gelato Queen which is an ice cream truck based here in Monroe! We have 3 dates setup for this year: June 26th, July 24th, and August 21st. They will be in the neighborhood from 6 PM – 7 PM. They will stop at 530 Eagle Court, and on Miranda Ridge Drive. We are covering the cost of any ice cream treat. The truck also has gelato and adult gelato, we are NOT covering cost for these, but feel free to purchase yourself while they are here.

Neighborhood garage sale will be on a UGA bye week as usual and we chose September 21st this year. We will be putting it in the local news and will put up signs the week (or so) before on nearby streets.

The next neighborhood HOA meeting has been scheduled. We have reserved a room at the Felker Community Center on Saturday, August 24th from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. We are trying to give plenty of advanced notice to to ensure we can get maximum participation in the meeting. In order to be able to do more for the neighborhood, we would love to get help with planning and setting up events. If you are available to do so, please use the Contact Us page and let us know.

Please try and keep your family and everyone coming to your house, driving slower in the neighborhood. Their are children outside frequently and they sometimes get in the streets. We would like to keep them and everyone safer. The speed limit is 25 MPH in the neighborhood. Thank everyone for their assistance with this.!

Please be sure to keep your trash/recycle cans out of view from the street. This can be accomplished by keeping them in your garage, in the backyard, or behind some kind of barrier so they cannot be seen when driving from any direction around your house.
